About the Underdog
A late coming of age story from standup Max Murphy Higgins, as seen at Edinburgh Fringe. Fiercely funny, break your heart, edge your seat comedy about becoming yourself (whenever you do)
Max Higgins is a Brooklyn-based standup comedian and writer. Max took his hour The Underdog to the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Max has opened for national touring acts Randy Feltface, River Butcher, Geoffrey Asmus, Alok, Naomi Ekperigin, and Hari Kondabolu.
You’ve seen him host Talk Show with Max Higgins at Caveat in the Lower East Side (a late night show) and co-hosting Friendly’s (a gay show) with Carson Olshansky in Brooklyn.
Max has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Rogue Island Comedy Festival, and VidCon in Anaheim.
Max got his start in the one and only Burlington, Vermont.
